Hard Surface Repairs
Scratches, dents, cracks, stains and scuff marks, even just fatigued surfaces, can be made good or rejuvenated by our fully trained, uniformed technicians; Magicman® can even resurface items in a different colour to the original, giving a fresh new look to dated paint schemes.
Whether the cause is impact, staining, contamination, burning, vandalism or accidental damage in construction or installation, Magicman® can make any surface look as good as new. Against replacement, we can do the work in less time, and at less cost, benefiting both you and the environment.
Resurfacing
Resurfacing is a generic term which covers the application of a new surface to a substrate or old surface.
In a domestic environment, resurfacing of a bath is more commonly known as re-enameling. This is a misnomer as re-enameling is a heat based process and can only be done in a factory
Resurfacing will give new life to your item saving you the cost and trouble of replacement.
Glass restoration
The technicians in Magicman® Glass division are experts at dealing with damage and maintenance problems.
Their specialist, precise skills are capable of restoring scratched and chipped glazing and glass surfaces to a sparkling finish. Replacing damaged glass can be very expensive. Magicman® Glass on-site repair services offer a highly cost-effective, convenient and safer alternative.
Protective Coatings
Magicman® are able to provide spray or brush applied protective coatings for wall, floor and all other surfaces including vehicles and furniture. This unique and quick process of preventing damage to either static or items in transit helps reduce the amount of damage produced and its associated costs. Protective coatings come in a wide range of colours and can be matched to any corporate colour.
The coating is opaque and when used on glass can help reduce incidents of theft by obscuring the internal view. An added advantage of the coatings are that they can keep the surface clean and are simple to remove when required up to 24 months after application.

Magicman transition to new ISO standards
In May 2017, during our annual ISOQAR audit, Magicman Limited successfully transitioned to the new ISO Standards ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015. Our transition is a mark of Magicman’s professionalism, the quality of the management systems and their commitment to meeting the needs of their customers and stakeholders that they were able to transition to the higher and latest standards in two key areas.
ISO 9001: 2015
This is the standard that assures customers that companies have fully implemented and maintain a Quality Management System that meets the requirements for certification by UKAS. It is an indicator of a company’s ability to fulfil or exceed the needs and expectations of their customers and stakeholders, both professionally and efficiently. 9001 focuses on customer experience but also about how companies treat their own employees and competency levels of staff.
ISO 14001: 2015
This demonstrates good governance and social responsibility regarding the company’s Environmental Management Systems. It confirms that Magicman have effective measures in place to reduce their impact on the environment. They achieve this by limiting waste production, preventing pollution and reducing energy usage. It also ensures that they comply fully with current legislation and regulations. It gives customers confidence that a company is seriously committed to protecting the environment.
BS OHSAS 18001: 2007
Magicman still hold BS OHSAS 18001: 2007, the future version of which is currently being written. This certification relates to Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and demonstrates a company’s serious commitment to protecting its employees, customers and the general public through improved management of risk assessment, reduced incidents and accidents and a decrease in staff absence.
Magicman are eagerly awaiting ISO 45001, the replacement for BS OHSAS 18001, in the first quarter of 2018 so we can transition to that too.
