Benefits of a Tennis Court Dome
An attractive looking dome covering four courts would allow all year tennis play from your existing outdoor courts in the warm and dry all year round. Extending the playing season this way could increase the club's revenue.

A single court dome is ideal for private courts or smaller clubs with a low budget. This would allow all year round use of your outdoor court, allowing you to keep in shape, relax, and stay on top form during the winter months.

AIR SUPPORTED CABLE DOMES
We would like to thank you for your interest in our steel cable-net airdomes and list below a brief description of the various component parts together with a press release that highlights the advantages over a conventional airdome and guide prices relating to tennis court sizes.

MAIN MEMBRANE
The main membrane is manufactured from a Polyester fabric coated with PVC on both sides, which can be coloured green up to a height of three to four metres for good ball visibility with translucent-white on the roof area to let in maximum natural light.

THERMAL INSULATION
A 10mm thick translucent layer of Polyurethane insulation is placed on top of the main membrane to provide an efficient thermal barrier to keep in heat and conserve energy.

PROTECTIVE FOIL
Athin Polyurethane foil is placed on top of the insulation layer to provide protection for the main membrane against the steel cables, atmospheric pollution and dirt. This can be changed when dirty every 2-3 years at a minimal cost to ensure maximum daylight passes through.

STEEL CABLE-NET
A net of galvanised steel rope is laid on the sandwich of membranes providing a strong cover that moulds the shape of the inflated membranes and takes up most of the stresses.

GROUND ANCHORS
A series of anchors is inserted into the ground around the circumference of the airdome and load tested in each position. The steel cable-net is then connected to the anchors with galvanised steel bolts. This system is far less disruptive and less costly than the concrete ringbeam normally required by conventional airdomes. Guide prices have been listed.

REVOLVING ENTRANCE DOOR
A 2m x 2m revolving entrance door is fitted comprising of four rotating steel wings with acrylic viewing panels in each. This minimises air loss and maintains the slight internal pressure.

DOUBLE AIRLOCK DOOR
As an alternative to a revolving door, a double airlock door is acvailable comprising of a pair of folding/sliding doors with acrylic viewing panels, at each end of a corridor. This is useful for wheelchair access or even for commercial vehicle access.
