About Greater Good Glass Ltd
How we got started
Two friends of thirty years decided to start a social enterprise after decades of working for predatory window companies
No hard sell
We are not a normal window company. We employ no salespeople and we will never pressure you to sign a contract
Our product
Our windows and doors are of the highest quality on the market, A+ energy rated, built to order and come with a ten year guarantee
We install the highest quality, most energy efficient windows and doors on the market.
Every job we do helps support the third sector in Scotland. Our customers should, and do, feel good about that.
Our Windows - The Liniar Range
The Liniar range is different to other systems on the market - being designed from scratch to take advantage of the very latest developments in window engineering technology. Combining high-tech design and engineering with the flexibility to create an individual appearance for every single home, the liniar system pushes the boundaries of possibility with a range that doesn't even need to look like PVCu. With an incredibly wide range of foils and finishes available, the choice is entirely yours. Whether you want the aesthetics of a pre-war timber window or an ultra modern triple glazed unit, we have the product and expertise to meet your needs. All of our windows come with a ten year guarantee as standard.
PVCu doors
We use the UK's leading PVCu door manufacturer to ensure that our doors are manufactured to the highest possible standards and so that we can offer an unparalleled choice of styles, colours and glazing options. We are committed to minimising our environmental impact which is why our PVCu doors feature a fire retardant core material that doesn't use CFCs or HFCs and are entirely non-toxic and recyclable. Protected by Heat Reflective Technology, our doors have a heat reflective skin which, when combined with an extra high density core, provides excellent insulation. This means that your door not only looks great, it also helps block noise and heat from entering or escaping your home.
Composites
Our solid core composite doors are made from sixteen layers of laminated, veneered timber to ensure that the grain is not all running in one direction (a weak point in a normal timber door). The timber used is naturally renewable and is purchased from sustainable managed forests, It can be recycled at the end if its useful life and so will not end up in land fill. Our composites are available in a choice of twenty two coloured foils as well as the traditional white and cream. They are also available with a low aluminium runner for use with a wheelchair ramp.
Patios and Bifolds
There's not a door we've met that we couldn't improve. Whether you want a bifold sliding across the full length of your kitchen or a dining room window converted to patio doors, we've got the solution for you.
