A Scottish property design specialist, Space Solutions, has continued its expansion into the voluntary sector by securing a place at a major industry conference.
The firm will appear at The Gathering in Edinburgh this month, where it will be one of the companies exhibiting to major figures within Scotland's voluntary sector.
The Gathering, currently in its 7th year, is the largest voluntary sector event in the UK. More than 5000 directors, trustees and volunteers from across Scotland are expected to attend the two-day conference, which will take place on February 18-19 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
Exhibiting firms at the conference are made up primarily from the voluntary and charity sectors, with the remainder consisting of Government agencies and private companies.
Space Solutions is hoping to highlight its expertise in the sector - which includes carrying out major design projects across Aberdeen and Dundee for Scottish charities such as Inspire, Transform and Cornerstone - by attending the event.
Derek Binnie, director at Space Solutions, said: "As the UK’s largest voluntary sector event, The Gathering will provide us with a fantastic opportunity to showcase our credentials. We will be looking to inform third sector organisations of our range of services, in particular our expertise in helping firms manage their property costs, and to showcase some of the work we have already done with our clients in the voluntary sector.
"The third sector faces the same challenges in these challenging times as the private and public sector in ensuring they are maximising the value of property assets and providing good workplaces for their staff.
"We have a superb record in helping firms in the commercial sector manage their property portfolio and we believe many organisations in Scotland’s voluntary sector can benefit from this."
Space Solutions operates UK-wide to design, build, fit out, refurbish and relocate modern and productive business environments.
