Property maintenance firm One Call Home Assist has continued its expansion plans by signing up six major Scottish lettings firms as its official business partners.
The firm, which provides fixed price maintenance contracts for landlords and property managers, has signed up the Lothian-based companies to join its expanding list of residential property customers in Scotland.
Under the agreement, the firms – which include Verve Property, Arden Property Management, Edinburgh Pearl Lettings, Live and Let, 1st Choice and Martin & Co - will be official 'partners' of One Call Home Assist.
The firms will offer the Home Assist property maintenance contracts to landlords and tenants on their books - and a percentage of the contract fee will then be recouped by each firm that signs up a new customer to the service.
John Dickson, One Call Home Assist's national sales director, said: "We're delighted that these big property firms have signed up to be official Home Assist partners. By teaming up with us, they will be able to offer the Home Assist contract as an extra service to every property owner and tenant on their databases.
"The attraction for partner firms is that they receive a percentage of every contract that is sold, so there is a real financial incentive to get as many properties signed up to Home Assist."
One Call Home Assist was launched in Edinburgh in March 2009 and its fixed-price contracts cover all emergency repair work to electrical, plumbing and heating systems, as well as general maintenance issues.
The contracts also cover all PAT and gas safety testing.
