Willmott Dixon Group Confirms Support for Builder’s Profile

Willmott Dixon Group is the latest main contractor to sign up to the Builder’s Profile as NSCC maintains its efforts to tackle duplication in the industry’s pre-qualification processes.

With a monthly average of over 100 sub-contractors joining the service and more than 350 profiles being submitted to main contractors and clients, the Builder’s Profile continues to grow and has the potential to solve the pre-qualification problem.

The Builder’s Profile enables companies to submit the same pre-qualification information to different contractors and clients without filling in numerous bespoke questionnaires. By signing up to the Builder’s Profile, Willmott Dixon can now accept comprehensive pre-qualification information from its supply chain and access their details instantly at the touch of a button – rather than waiting for paper questionnaires to be completed and returned.

David Taylor, Principal Health, Safety & Environmental Manager at Willmott Dixon, explained why Willmott Dixon is pleased to be using the Builder’s Profile:

“Willmott Dixon Group recognises that the Builder’s Profile can reduce the burden of the pre-qualification process on the supply chain. Contractors who use the Builder’s Profile will now be fast-tracked through the Willmott Dixon Group supply chain system, which will help to improve efficiency by allowing contractors to avoid filling out another pre-qualification form with the same information.”

With the Government looking for 20% efficiency savings in its Plan for Growth, the Builder’s Profile can play a key role as it saves all parts of the supply chain both time and money.
