Work on the 65,000 sq ft Grade A office development had been suspended in early 2010 when the original construction firm entered administration.
Clark Contracts will start on site on August 8th and the work is scheduled for completion before the end of 2011.
Situated opposite Glasgow Central rail station, in the heart of the city’s thriving International Financial Services District, the ten storey Copenhagen development fuses together two original buildings from 1899. The refurbishment features a glass curtain wall and a two storey atrium.

Gordon Cunningham, managing director, Clark Contracts, said: "The design for this development has successfully married the building’s striking architectural features, some of which are listed, with the modern day convenience of open plan working, in a high quality environment. The completion works are being administered on behalf of the Allied Irish Bank by GVA Ltd.
Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts has grown to employ over 200 staff at offices in Paisley, covering the West of Scotland, and Edinburgh, covering the East. Around 80% of the company’s work is repeat business and six out of ten customers have worked with Clark Contracts for five years or more.
