Deveron Homes’ flagship Cairn View development in Kemnay is to provide the setting for a new art exhibition.
Last Friday saw the Huntly-based firm will throw open the doors of “Art in the Showhome” at Cairn View’s Kinord Showhome which is exhibiting works from a collection by Kanita Sim, provided by the Milton Gallery at Crathes.
The special exhibition gives visitors the chance to view work by the popular North east-based artist whilst finding out more about Cairn View’s 54 two, three, four and five bedroom family eco-homes.
It comes as Deveron Homes begins a year of celebrations to mark the company’s tenth anniversary.
Deveron Homes’ sales director Lynne Holburn said: "We strongly believe that by embracing visual art in all its forms we can create a harmonious environment for our residents.
"At Cairn View we have already commissioned a special piece of external artwork by sculptor Mary Bourne, so it makes perfect sense to also create an art space within our new show home. We are thrilled to link with Milton Gallery to host an exhibition of stunning works of art by Kanita Sim. This is a great opportunity for both art lovers and homebuyers to come together to appreciate the beauty of our homes and the talent of well respected local artist."
Sue Thornton of Milton Gallery added: "We are delighted to create a special exhibition at Cairn View. It’s the perfect opportunity for our gallery and we would like to thank the team at Deveron Homes for this marvellous opportunity."
“Art in the Showhome” at Cairn View, Kemnay is open 11am to 5pm, seven days a week.
