The work is largely funded by East Lothian Council, and is being undertaken by consultants Urban Animation.
The aim is to make Haddington town centre a better place to live, work and visit – and to draw up a vision and action plan to achieve this over the next 10-20 years.

Before we the council begin to think about what that vision might be, they want to hear the views of local people.
This is to make sure that the vision and action plan are rooted in what local people want for their town. They are speaking to a range of people, young and old, and asking them about their aspirations for the town, and also their concerns.
You can contribute either by completing a short online survey at tinyurl.com/haddington or by coming along to public workshops in the Trinity Centre, Church Street, Haddington on Wednesday, 29 February and Wednesday, 28 March (7.00pm on both nights).
