Licensed Icynene contractor Eco Insulate Ltd will be appearing at the Homebuilding and Renovating Show in Glasgow this year.
The event, which takes place in May, attracts a good mix of self builders and home improvers representing an additional market to that of social housing providers with whom the company has already built its success.
This will be the fourth year in a row that Eco Insulate have participated and reflects the importance they place on carrying out individual contracts as well as larger insulation programmes.
Colin Davidson, eco Insulate Ltd’s Surveyor and Estimator said: "People are becoming more aware of the need to reduce Energy consumption, whether this is for existing properties or new build projects. Whilst there are many excellent renewable solutions, they understand that the first step is to prevent the loss from a building of any energy produced.
"This enables the design and specification of appliances with lower ratings at a reduced capital cost with lower costs in use. We enjoy discussing the many varied and interesting projects with potential clients who are well aware of the importance of building in good insulation and air tightness prior to designing their HVAC systems."
In the past eco Insulate has participated in the seminars run at the event but this year their supplier GMS Renewables plan to be involved by highlighting the latest products available from Icynene and their different applications.
Colin added: "As Scotland’s most experienced Icynene Contractor we are able to provide visitors with practical advice and the presence of our supplier also provides them with an opportunity to find out more about the technical aspects of Icynene."
Whilst the content of eco Insulate’s stand has yet to be finalised, this year’s show promises to be as interesting for both the company and their visitors alike.
From their base in Dumfries and Galloway, eco Insulate Ltd operate throughout Scotland and also provide a Thermal Image Service through its associated company Thermal Image Surveys Ltd.
