It was a night of celebration for NSCC Specialist Contractors at the Construction News Specialists Awards on Tuesday 20 March.
The Construction News Specialists Awards, supported by NSCC, are the only awards dedicated to rewarding the achievements of Specialist Contractors within the construction industry. Offering an excellent opportunity to demonstrate a competitive edge, the black tie awards dinner at the London Hilton Hotel showcased the achievements of the specialist sector to more than 570 clients, contractors and leading industry figures, in what has been another tough year for the industry.
NSCC Specialist Contractors were represented throughout the shortlist which is testament to their expertise, quality and skills.
Congratulations go to The Alumet Group, Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering, Briggs Amasco and D-Drill (Master Drillers) who left with a winner’s trophy.
Cementation Skanska (FPS), FK Construction (NFRC), O’Brien Roofing and Leadwork (NFRC) and Renocon (INCA) were all Highly Commended in their categories.
The NSCC Chief Executive, Suzannah Nichol MBE, who addressed guests at the event, praised the achievements of the specialist sector: "The Construction News Specialists Awards are a tribute to the hard work of Specialist Contractors who continue to deliver projects to the highest quality standards on behalf of their clients.
"The specialist sector has proven once again that it is composed of reputable, technically competent firms that make an essential contribution to the construction industry. NSCC is delighted to support this event and will continue to support Specialist Contractors to deliver more award-winning projects."
