Plans Submitted To Develop Dundee School

Whiteburn Projects has submitted plans to develop Dundee's Parkview School, Urban Realm has reported.

The plans, if approved, will see the Jacobean main building converted for residential use as well as the construction of a new build block in the grounds.

Designed by Page\Park, the project has been described as a "pocket of urbanity" within Scotland's west end, and it will be arranged around a series of communal courtyards.


Set within the landscaped grounds, the new build will be constructed so it ties in with the existing school building. It will have a zinc roof with stone cladding, and slatted timber will be used for both the cladding and balustrading to fit in with the surrounding woodland.

Last March, Whiteburn Projects completed its acquisition of the school. Situated in a prime location in Dundee, the school building is set in three acres of ground, including a lodge house and former student residence.
