The revamp was carried out ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games as the station is expected to channel visitors to the various events next year, according to the BBC.
Dalmarnock station will now reopen to passengers with services resuming on 20 May, after closing in June 2012.
It is situated close to the athletes' village as well as key venues such as Celtic Park, the National Indoor Sports Arena and the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
As part of the refurb, a new booking office on Dalmarnock Road has replaced the old service on Swaston Street, while eastbound passengers will be able to access the station platform directly from the new office vie a new life and staircase.

Westbound passengers will have to use a temporary staircase on Swanston Street until refurbishment work is completed.
Transport Scotland said an overhead bridge, which would provide access to the westbound platform via stairs or a lift, would be installed later this summer.
A spokesman said: "Dalmarnock station is absolutely key to the 2014 Commonwealth Games and we are delighted that everything is on schedule for the full refurbishment to be complete this autumn, well ahead of the games next summer.
"In the meantime, works have reached such a stage that the station will be safe and operational from 20 May, allowing local passengers to use the station and to see for themselves this state-of-the-art station which will play such an important role come summer 2014."
The new station, built by Network Rail, was funded by Transport Scotland, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport, Clyde Gateway, Glasgow City Council and the European Regional Development Fund.
