A number of construction jobs are to be created in Netherton.
According to the Wishaw Press, 68 new posts will be created as part of an off-site building enterprise.
The jobs will be located at the eight-hectare site of the new Enemetric factory, which is located across from the firm's existing Netherton base.
News of the job boost follows a £1m investment in the new factory, which was officially opened last week.
Speaking about the news, Gary Mayatt, Managing Director of Enemetric, said: "We are absolutely delighted to see the factory open after months of hard work following the acquisition of Powerwall.
"Like many companies, Powerwall were affected by difficult trading conditions brought on by the current economic and financial crisis and forced into administration. The acquisition has brought stability to the company, staff and customers, and will retain a strong manufacturing presence in the local area."
Last year, Enemetric owners, Ene Group, acquired the struggling Netherton construction specialist Powerwall.
The factory will now house the company's low carbon, off-site construction process, where controlled conditions will allow for the delivery of buildings for the residential, education and leisure markets.
Fergus Ewing, Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Tourism, added: "For Scotland, off-site construction ticks a lot of boxes and makes a lot of sense.
"The construction sector will play an important role in establishing a successful, low carbon economy across Scotland.
"New inward investors like the Ene Group are vital to Scotland’s construction industry. I am delighted the Scottish Government, through Scottish Enterprise, have supported the group’s growth plans – the plans show the company’s strong commitment to Scotland."
The new roles for skilled workers and apprentices are being created due to a £845k Regional Selective Assistance (RSA) grant from Scottish Enterprise.
It is understood the jobs will be created over the next 18 months.
