Increase In Enquiries For Eco Insulate

Eco Insulate Ltd has said business continues to improve.

For the month of April, the firm has already tendered for work in excess of £250,000. It added that the strong position is a continuation of the high activity levels experienced during the first quarter of the year, with total quote values of more than £1m worth of business.

These enquiries are made up of a combination of retrofit, new build, but mainly commercial work which has formed the basis of the success of the business.

Originally established to service the new build timber frame market, Eco Insulate has diversified and now offers a complete range of open and closed cell spray foam products which has helped its business to expand.

Bryan Woods, MD of eco Insulate Ltd said: "It can sometimes appear difficult for an SME to compete against larger organisations especially in the construction industry which is notorious in being slow to accept new ideas and technology.

"However our service led approach coupled with offering a competitive and technically high performance product range has helped us through what could have been difficult times. We're aware of a number of insulation companies who have recently failed either through using less able suppliers and/or relying on Government funded schemes to gain work.

"Of course it's not just a case of tendering for projects as every company needs to be successful in actually winning work and again eco Insulate are getting their fair share. Going by previous years, many early enquiries convert into contract acceptances in the subsequent months as better weather and project planning comes to fruition. On this basis, the company is likely to enjoy a full order book over the coming period.

"Despite this early activity, the company is not resting on its laurels and over the next few months will be participating in a number of events to maintain their presence in the market place."

Eco Insulate said one of these events will be The Scottish Homebuilding and Renovating Show which takes place at the SECC in Glasgow on 17 to 18 May.
