The Lanarkshire-based company was granted the accolade by the National Skills Academy for Railway Engineering (NSARE) for its rail training courses. The courses are designed to provide companies – and contractors – with the necessary skills, knowledge and certification needed to undertake rail works, in line with Network Rail Group Standards.
QTS Training is a subsidiary of leading rail infrastructure and engineering contractors QTS Group, which has more than 800 operatives and ten offices throughout the UK. It has an onsite rail track training facility to provide trainees with a combination of theoretical and hands-on experience.

NSARE is a not-for-profit body which is part of a national network of National Skills Academies. It was established to tackle the current skills need within the railway engineering industry.
