The project will deliver up to 1,000 spaces for users and will be located on the A96 in Dyce.
Waiting accommodation and cycle lockers, as well as 500 metres of new dual carriageway between the A96 and Dyce Drive, at its junction with Argyll Road. The link will include footways and a shared cyclepath/footway, while the dual carriageway will comprise of three lanes in each direction.
Lagan Construction Group has been named the contractor for the development.
Work is expected to commence on site this spring and will be carried out in three phases.
• Phase 1: The northern leg of the new dual carriageway, between the Dyce Drive/Argyll Road junction and half-way towards the park-and-ride site, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2015, opening up development opportunities on neighbouring land.

• Phase 2: The southern leg of the dual carriageway, linking to a planned new roundabout on the A96 in association with the AWPR, will then be completed.
• Phase 3: The park-and-ride site is due to become operational by summer 2016.
Councillor Jenny Laing, Leader of Aberdeen City Council, said: "I am delighted that work is due to start very soon on this crucial piece of major infrastructure, which is one of the largest roads contracts the City Council has signed in recent times.
"It will bring significant benefits in terms of relieving congestion on the A96 and at the Haudagain roundabout, and will boost the city's economy by freeing up prime development land close to the international airport and the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route."
Carol Benzie, Managing Director at Aberdeen International Airport, added: "The road system both entering and egressing the airport campus has become significantly busier over recent years, creating real challenges to both passengers and employees at the airport.
"With millions of pounds of investment in new offices and warehouses already developed or under way around the airport, this vital improvement to the roads infrastructure will be welcomed not just by the airport, but by all users of the roads around Dyce Drive."
