Balfour Beatty has announced it is to hold a 'meet the buyer' event for local companies to find out more information about the new Dundee Railway Station project.
The exhibition will be hosted in partnership with Dundee City Council at the Invercarse Hotel on Tuesday, 17 November.
The event aims to raise awareness of the build schedule and when various contracts/sub contracts will become available.
The £28m contract to redevelop Dundee Rail Station was awarded to the London-based firm in August.
It involves the creation of a new passenger concourse and ticketing facilities, as well as a cafe/restaurant and retail space.
In addition, a new 120 bedroom hotel operated by Sleeperz Hotels will also be accommodated on three floors above the new concourse.
The project is expected to be completed in two years.
Will Dawson, convener of the council's city development committee, said: "As part of the contract process Balfour Beatty committed to providing a lasting benefit for the local community.
"They have created a detailed community engagement plan for the work which will bring more than 120 construction jobs per year for the two years of the build; £11.6m of gross added value to the local economy and knock on benefits to the local supply chain.
"By hosting the Meet the Buyer event we are keen to engage with as many local firms as possible to spread the benefits that this development will bring."
