The events will showcase details of three projects identified under the City Development Framework.

It is understood the schemes are worth £200 million.

In addition, they have the potential to generate over £80m per year for the Stirling economy and create 1,700 jobs.

Council Leader Johanna Boyd said: "These plans will help revitalise both the city itself and the wider Stirling area and are about much more than just changing infrastructure.

"This is about real transformation -  creating a world-class city, working to create better links between rural and urban, better enabling and revitalising our most in need communities, and creating a world-class centre of enterprise and opportunity."

Members of the public will be able to view the plans, including a 3D model of how they could transform the city centre landscape, from 2-8pm on the following dates:

• Mayfield Centre, St Ninians, Stirling, Tuesday, 02 February.

• Balfron Community Campus, Wednesday, 10 February.

• McLaren Hall, Killin Wednesday, 17 February.

• McLaren Leisure Centre, Callander, Tuesday, 23 February.

Further plans are still being developed to regenerate the Mercat Cross/ City Centre area; create a new conference centre and City Park; and develop the River Forth as a key tourist and leisure resource.
