Heron Bros has won over £110 million of new construction work in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Group Managing Director, Damian Heron, said securing the education, leisure and retail deals follows on from a successful 2016 for the company.
In Scotland, the company has been appointed as the main contractor of the £14m Bargarran Primary School, St John's Bosco Joint Faith Primary School & Nursery in Renfrewshire.
Work includes building a two-storey facility and a shared site facility to replace the existing two adjacent schools. The phased-scheme will take 185 weeks to complete, with handover expected in January 2019.
Heron Bros has also won a deal to build the new £5 million Arthurlie Family Centre in East Renfrewshire. A new single-storey building will be developed in the ground of the former Auchenback Primary School, providing early education for age 0-5 year olds with a total capacity for 170 child spaces.
Secure outdoor play areas, along with car parking and drop off areas, will also be built. The 42-week scheme is expected to be completed in November 2017.
In Northern Ireland, Heron Bros will deliver Belfast City Council's £105m Belfast Leisure Transformation Programme. Work includes building three new leisure facilities across the city valued at £60m. These will replace the existing facilities at Andersonstown Leisure Centre, the Robinson Centre and Brook Activity Centre.
Preparatory works are already underway at the Robinson Centre, with building also scheduled to start this summer at Andersonstown and Brook. All three new centres are due for completion by summer 2019.
In addition, a new £30m leisure facility will be built at Dairy Hall in Newtownards. The 20-month scheme is scheduled to begin in February, with handover expected to take place in October 2018.
The contractor has also started work on a new £4.5 million Porsche dealership at the Titanic Quarter, with completion scheduled for this autumn.
Damian Heron, Group Managing Director, said: "We are delighted to begin a New Year by announcing that Heron Bros has been awarded over £110M worth of construction work both in Northern Ireland and Scotland.
"The Belfast Leisure Transformation Programme and the New Ards Leisure facility will enable us to expand on our impressive portfolio of leisure facilities whilst providing significant community benefits to the wider Belfast and Newtownards areas. Heron Bros will deliver a world-class, luxury Porsche dealership in Titanic Belfast illustrating our continued ability to construct high-end facilities.
"Bargarran Primary school further cements our reputation on high quality education projects, whilst the Arthurlie Family Centre showcases our expertise in delivering specialist education and secure facilities."
