Caledonia HA Appoints Contractors For Responsive Property Repairs

Novus Property Solutions and McGill & Co Ltd have been appointed to carry out responsive property repairs for Caledonia Housing Association (HA).

The three-year contracts, worth over £3 million, will run from 01 October 2017.

Novus will be supporting Caledonia's responsive repairs in the East covering Dundee, Fife and Angus, while McGill & Co will cover Caledonia's properties in the West, predominantly in Perthshire.

Tim Calderbank, Caledonia HA Operations Director said: "The new contractors will operate an appointment system for completion of non-emergency repairs. This will provide choice to our customers and ensure that their repairs are undertaken at a time and date that suits their lifestyles. This is in line with our strategic objective to transform customer service and our aim to meet customers' expectations."

Derek Ferguson, strategic operations manager from Novus, said: "We're pleased to have been appointed by Caledonia Housing Association on this contract.
