Norscot Appoints New Managing Director

Norscot has appointed its Commercial Director, Callum Grant, to the dual role of Managing and Commercial Director.

Mr Grant will take up his new position from 01 October. Current MD and Co-Founder Peter Body will assume a part-time role in the business as Chairman.

Having joined Norscot in 1988 as a salesman, Mr Grant was offered a place on the board as commercial director in 1992. Since then, he has had a significant impact on the business in its pursuit of continuous growth.

Norscot Co-Founder Mr Body said: "Callum has always demonstrated a strong desire to see the business succeed and serve the community in which we work. He is respected throughout the Highlands, and beyond, as a businessman and I have no doubt he will be a worthy successor."

Mr Grant added: "I'm extremely excited about the future prospects for the company and relish the opportunity to take a lead in the next phase of its development."

Norscot currently generates sales of around £4 million and has 60 employees. But, with a number of new projects on the horizon, it aims to double sales over the next five years.

Mr Grant will be supported in this drive forward by production director John-Paul Body, technical director Jason Fraser and finance director Carrie Body.
