With just weeks until the opening of The Scottish Homebuilding & Renovating Show, just a few trade stands are still available for the two-day event.

The show, Scotland's largest consumer exhibition for self-builders, home renovators and improvers, is back at the SEC Glasgow on June 16 & 17 2018.

The 2017 show was a record breaker, delivering over 9,000 visitors, a 12% year on year increase.

A recent survey of visitors found:

• Visitors had an average budget of £101,000 over the following 12 months

• 71% of visitors were planning on working on a live project during the following year

• 79% of visitors made purchases at the show or were considering doing so following their attendance, while 73% of people had or were likely to request a quote from an exhibitor.

Nick Noble, commercial & events director at Future PLC, comments, "Our growth in visitor figures in Scotland has driven additional trade attention towards the opportunity we're providing. Through our shows we're connecting the appetite from consumers who see their homes as their number one asset, with a highly targeted exhibitor database.

"Not only do we offer visitors access to products and services that are not available elsewhere, they can obtain free advice from a range of experts, invaluable when undertaking a substantial project.

"Our visitors, with their combination of live projects and substantial budgets, provides trade exhibitors with the opportunity to open new commercial streams and significant ROI."

The Scottish Homebuilding & Renovating Show covers a wide range of interests from extensions; conversions; home DIY; planning permission; interiors; lighting; doors; windows; renewable technologies; heating systems; project insurance; energy efficiency; home insurance; building regulations and more.

The Scottish Homebuilding & Renovating Show is at the SEC in June 2018 and again at The Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh in October.
