The proposed idea was to convert car parks into overnight homeless shelters to address the homelessness problem.
It was recognised by the Cities for our Future competition, which calls on young people to create new ideas to address pressing problems around the world. The proposal has been chosen as one of the five remaining UK entries.

Soran Shanapur from Iran entered the Glasgow proposal.
The competition received more than 1,200 entries globally. The overall winner of the competition will receive a prize of £50,000.
An overall winner from the UK will be announced in July and will go on to the global shortlist with the chance to win £50,000. All entries on the global shortlist will get the chance to work with an expert mentor provided by RICS, who will help develop the idea in the run up to the final judging in November
