The inspiration for this was taken from a pale blue velvet armchair which had been chosen for the room. A stunning feature pendant in layered clear glass pressed 'petals' add another tier of richness to the space.
Throughout the home, a theme of local coastal views grace the walls, to further enhance the feeling of calm and tranquillity which the Garvie was designed with in mind.
Interior designer Alison said: "Given the fantastic location of the development and its proximity to the sea, I simply had to have some kind of coastal, seaside influence when it came to the interiors.
"I think there's something incredibly calming about being close to the sea, and the designs and colours we've chosen in the Garvie reflects that with the use of relaxing colours and natural, rugged, materials.
"It's a perfect family home – with really generously sized bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and living space as well as a standalone lounge – there's ample room for everyone to have their own space as well as to spend time together in."
