Contractor Graham has been awarded a £161 million construction deal by NHS Grampian.
A key milestone in Aberdeen’s Baird Family Hospital and ANCHOR Centre the scheme is the largest project to be procured through the Health Facilities Scotland Framework and Graham is now preparing to go on site in November.

The Baird Family Hospital will be built on the site formerly occupied by the Foresterhill Health Centre and Breast Screening Centre on the Foresterhill Health Campus.
It will unite all maternity, neonatal, reproductive medicine, breast and gynaecology services as well as a patient hotel and dedicated teaching and research facilities.
The ANCHOR Centre will attach to the existing Radiotherapy Centre and bring all haematology, oncology and radiotherapy day and outpatient services under one roof.
There will also be a dedicated lounge for teenage and young adult patients, an aseptic pharmacy to produce chemotherapy treatments and dedicated teaching and research facilities.
The new facilities will help modernise patient care and facilities at the Foresterhill Health Campus, Europe's biggest healthcare site, and is part of NHS Grampian's continued investment in new and improved facilities across the North East of Scotland.
