Home Fix Scotland Supports Charities

Home Fix Scotland has donated a huge haul of office furniture, including desks, chairs, filing cabinets, and locking cupboards, to organisations including the NHS and a local social enterprise, Belville Community Gardens.

Many of these items were surplus to requirements and kept in storage following River Clyde Homes' move to new offices in Greenock in 2020.

Sally Clough, Manager at Belville Community Garden Trust, said: "BCGT has been able to make great use of the filing cabinets that we received from RCH Group. Repurposing items around the community like this is a great way to save resources and help each other out, thank you!"


Elaine Gray, Purchasing Lead, at the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde expressed her appreciation for the donation added: "We'd like to thank River Clyde Homes and Home Fix Scotland for providing us with the furniture for use within our Health Board.

"This equipment will be put to good use and distributed throughout our acute and primary care sites. Donations such as these are vital as they allow our Health Board to make important savings on purchasing new equipment."
