Pacific Building Completes Frankie & Benny's Makeover

Construction News Image
Pacific Building has successful completed a rapid two-week makeover programme at a refurbished Frankie & Benny's American-Italian diner.

The work on the much-loved restaurant at the Glasgow Fort shopping park involved new furniture and bar as well as replacement floor coverings, decoration, upgraded rest rooms and a refurbished frontage.

The entire project was completed within the ultra-tight timeframe and Pacific were able to ensure minimal disruption to neighbouring trade within a "live" shopping centre.

Diners who pop in will feel as though they have been transported back to the "happy days" of 1950s America where the US and Italian cultures and cuisines combined seamlessly.

The family-friendly restaurant chain is famed not only for its food but for its atmosphere and decor, which focus on no-nonsense period functionality and feature colour schemes and fittings redolent of days gone by.

A Pacific spokesman said: "It is always nice to see a restaurant given a facelift to keep its existing customers happy and help out attract new ones.

"This was a very tight project time-wise but we drew on our extensive experience to get it over the finish line in good order."
