Marshall Construction has completed the construction of a new steel framed three storey HQ, together with associated services, quality internal finishes, external works, and drainage for Tillicoultry Quarries at Kilbagie.
Tillicoultry Quarries is one of the largest suppliers of quarry materials in Scotland and has developed a reputation for quality products and service excellence.
Wallace Menzies, Director, Tillicoultry Quarries said: "We are delighted to have worked with Marshall Construction, also a family run business, on the construction of our new Head Office, RWM House. Now that the building is complete, we are very much looking forward to being able to bring all of our teams together under one roof. As Tillicoultry Quarries continues to expand throughout the UK, it is important that we continue to foster a strong culture of communication while providing growth and development opportunities for our team. The new headquarters will allow us to maintain a family feel, while creating greater opportunities for collaboration and building stronger relationships among our teams."
Robert Marshall, Chairman and Owner, Marshall Construction commented: "Marshall Construction was awarded the Contract (via a competitive tendering process) to build Tillicoultry Quarries new headquarters. This was testament to our expertise, can-do culture, and an ability to deliver exemplary projects, exceeding expectations.
"We recognised the importance of delivering this project for Tillicoultry Quarries, a renowned company with family values just like Marshall Construction. We delivered a new HQ, bringing together their employees into a modern and sustainable building.”
"A key challenge was that budgets were set when the market was still quite depressed; so innovative construction solutions were implemented to ensure it stayed on cost and quality was maintained."
