Scottish Apprenticeship Week gets underway this week and we're shining a light on the vital role apprenticeships play across our business.

In the last five years, ScottishPower has recruited over 500 apprentices to help us decarbonise the UK. And with over £10bn of investment in scores of green projects across the country, we need a talent pipeline for the decades ahead.

ScottishPower's SP Energy Networks business is a huge recruiter of apprentices every year, and with major projects to be delivered to help electrify the economy, there are huge opportunities to build a career for life.

CEO SP Energy Networks, Vicky Kelsall, said: "Our apprenticeship programmes are a great way to gain qualifications while also learning on the job and getting paid. With a wealth of opportunities available, not just in engineering, our apprenticeships cover Logistics, Craft, Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Cyber, Data Science and Real Time Systems. There has never been a more exciting time to begin working in our industry which is core to enabling the UK's transition to a net zero carbon economy."

And it's not just apprenticeships on offer. If you are interested in helping tackle climate change and delivering a low carbon future check out our wealth of vacancies with more to come across the year.
