CCG (Scotland) has welcomed the news that five of their projects have been named finalists in the 2023 Inside Housing Development Awards.
Cromdale Square – designed by Grant Murray Architects in collaboration with HOOS Developments and delivered on behalf of Linthouse Housing Association – comprises 49 homes built on the site of the former Drumoyne Primary School in Govan, Glasgow.
The project has been nominated in the Best Regeneration 100+ Homes category and the Best Affordable Housing Development – Scotland category. The nomination follows recent recognition from both the Homes for Scotland Awards and the Scottish Home Awards.
Queens Quay – designed by MAST Architects – is a 146-home development that forms part of the large-scale, mixed-use regeneration of the former John Brown Shipyard in Clydebank.
Delivered by CCG on behalf of Loretto, a member of the Wheatley Group, West Dunbartonshire Council, and Clydebank Housing Association, the development has also been nominated for the 'Best Regeneration 100+ homes' and 'Best Affordable Housing Development – Scotland' categories.
The project recently won a prestigious SILVER award for Regeneration at this year's Scottish Design Awards.
A further three projects are nominated for the 'Best Affordable Housing Development – Scotland' award including Mill of Shield Road and Hannahston Avenue, Drongan, a project of 14 homes delivered on behalf of East Ayrshire Council and Hawick Street and Burns Road, 128-home and 133-home developments that were both delivered on behalf of Sanctuary Scotland.
The awards, which are among the most prestigious in the UK, will take place on the 29th of September and "celebrate the very best residential developments across the UK, with categories recognising the teams, schemes, tenures, and solutions that have made a positive impact on local communities".
