Clark Contracts Announces Edinburgh Careers Event

Clark Contracts has announced its latest careers event in Edinburgh on Wednesday, 27 March.

The contractor, who has an office in Newbridge, has previously been crowned 'Best Place to Work' at the Construction News Talent Awards and won the 'Training Excellence' award at the Construction News Awards.

The event is being held on Wednesday 27th March from 4.30pm within Edinburgh Napier University's Sighthill campus.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the company's Recruitment and HR Team along with a range of the contractor's current employees to find out more about careers at Clark Contracts and how they can progress through the company's award-winning Academy. Information will also be shared on the recruitment process for the contractor's 2024 trainee and apprenticeship intake.

There will be opportunities for apprentices and trainees for various positions and trades including Quantity Surveying, Site Management, Estimating, Joinery and Painting and Decorating.

Clark Contracts is committed to ensuring new talent is recruited into the industry and currently has over 36 trainees and apprentices within their Academy in a range of roles including, Site Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Buying, Marketing, Estimating and Trade Apprenticeships. The contractor annually invests £750k into training and is dedicated to the continued development of employees, with many having progressed from trainee and apprentice positions to senior management roles within the business.

Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director, Clark Contracts said: "Following the success of our 8th annual event earlier in the month where over 140 people joined us at out head office, we are looking forward to holding this event in Edinburgh and welcoming the next generation of trainees and apprentices in to the industry."
