The CCG Group has welcomed the news that they have received seven nominations across six categories at this year's Scottish Home Awards.
The Scottish Home Awards is one of the most prestigious in the Scottish housing sector and are set to take place at a glitzy award ceremony on the 13th of June.
CCG by CCG (Scotland) and CCG Homes, with nominations highlighting the group's approach to sustainability and community benefits, as well as some of their most innovative developments:
• Excellence in Sustainability
From their approach to offsite MMC and decarbonisation to the wider impact of their construction activities on their clients, people and communities, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
• Community Contribution Award
This award celebrates the positive contributions of a contractor within a community setting, and a great example of CCG's work is in Granton, north Edinburgh, with The City of Edinburgh Council at Western Villages.
Located on Granton Waterfront, the 444-home project is Scotland's largest operational net zero carbon housing development, and as a result of our involvement, CCG has been able to deliver a wide range of locally-based initiatives since commencing construction in June 202 since construction began in June 2022 including job creation (14), access to trade apprenticeships (9) and site-based work placements (5), as well as engagement with schools and donating charities.
• Housing Regeneration Project of the Year
Meat Market and Dundashill Plot 3 are leading examples of brownfield, urban regeneration in the city of Glasgow.
The 251 homes that form part of the multi-phase regeneration of the former Glasgow Meat Market were delivered by CCG for Home Group, whilst the 90 Passivhaus homes at Dundashill for West of Scotland Housing Association are some of the most energy-efficient in the country and form part of a new, growing community north of the city centre.
CCG Homes, the private housing arm of the CCG Group, has received a trio of nominations for their stunning Calderwood Lodge development.
Comprising the regeneration of the former Calderwood Lodge Primary School in Newlands, south Glasgow, into a development of 20 luxury homes, the project is nominated for Show Home of the Year, Apartment Development of the Year (Private Sale), and Housing Development of the Year Small (Private Sale).
