Adapt Commercial Property has officially opened its new Glasgow studio at McLellan Works on Sauchiehall Street.
The move marks the agency's first anniversary after its foundation in June 2023 by Fergus Maclennan, formerly a Partner and Head of Glasgow Business Space Agency at global real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield.
Adapt Commercial Property provides dynamic and strategic advice to landlords, investors and occupier clients focused on innovation, quality and, most importantly, the end user. Adapt showcases and markets the best quality space for landlord clients with a wide range of prestigious leasing and sales instructions. The agency also represents a wide range of occupier clients, realigning their occupational strategies to secure spaces fit for the future.
The opportunity to secure space at McLellan Works, a project in which Maclennan advised developer client Bywater Properties, provided the perfect collaboration to showcase the Adapt brand and ethos.
Mr Maclennan stated: "McLellan Works is a development which I have advised on from the initial acquisition and concept design to project delivery and leasing. I am proud of the development. The building has been transformed with meticulous detail and passion to provide innovative future workspace to support a vibrant and entrepreneurial culture that goes beyond work. It perfectly aligns with our ethos at Adapt."
Dan Mead, Head of Leasing at Bywater Properties commented: "We have been working with Fergus and Adapt Commercial Property since the start of our ownership and refurbishment of McLellan Works and he has been a strong and vociferous supporter of the building throughout the project. It is fantastic to be a part of the next stage of Adapt’s development. It speaks volumes of the success of McLellan Works, and the regeneration of the western side of the city, that one of our leasing team has chosen this location to grow their business from. If our building is good enough for the property advisors then we must be doing something right!"
