BEAR Scotland is working on behalf of Transport Scotland.
These improvements are a continuation of work carried out in June and will be completed in two phases.
During the first phase, surfacing improvements on lane one will start at 7pm on Monday 12 August and will last 15 nights. This first phase will be completed by 6am on the morning of Saturday 31 August.

The second phase to resurface lane two will begin at 7pm on Tuesday 10 September. This phase will last a further six nights with all works due to be completed by 6am on the morning of Wednesday 18 September.
To ensure the safety of both workers and road users during both phases, night time lane closures will be implemented on the northbound carriageway with a convoy system in place to control traffic through the site.
It is also necessary to close a single lane on the northbound carriageway during the day and at weekends to prevent road users travelling on an unsafe road surface. During phase two, a southbound lane two closure will also be installed at nights for safety purposes.
Access through the works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
