Elha.com, East Lothian Housing Association's new website and on-line housing office has got off to a flying start with over 1,500 visitors to the site in the first three days since its launch on Monday. Within just an hour of launch, the first tenant had registered to use our on-line facilities such as access to rent statements, repairs history, repairs ordering and paper free communication options.
The online housing office has also proved popular, with 16 online chats taking place on the first day the website went live.
Mary Hargreaves Web Officer said "I'm delighted first of all that the site worked when it went live, and secondly that we are getting such a high level of interest in our online services. We're monitoring use of the site and have already decided to update our Mutual Exchange pages twice a week rather than once because they are so heavily used".
At elha.com, 100% of services are now on-line, with staff available online during the day to deal with enquiries in real time, using the website's unique 'chat' feature. As well as access to services, our website contains a host of information relating to obtaining and managing a tenancy with ELHA.
Tenants can even go paper-free and choose to receive their newsletters, rent consultation documents and annual rent statements by e-mail instead of post. Some services on our website are only available to tenants (who can register with elha.com free of charge), but a demonstration of these services can be accessed at the login page on www.elha.com.
