In a bid to encourage eco-friendly business practice, Connaught staff can now be seen in the bright red eco-friendly vehicles travelling to visit their customers.
The refurbishment and maintenance company has become part of the May Day network, which aims to help UK businesses reduce carbon emissions; joining 80 top companies in Scotland involved in Scottish Business in the Community, and hundreds more UK-wide, to become more environmentally aware.

As the leading provider of repair and maintenance programmes to over 130 social rented housing landlords throughout the UK, Connaught has provided its tenant liaison officers with the Volkswagen Blue Motion Polo in Glasgow, Dumfries and Perth and Kinross.
Tenant liaison officer for Perth & Kinross, Joyce Grant, said: "I'm really pleased with my Blue Motion Polo, it gets me around all my clients in an effective and eco-friendly manner - it's perfect as I'm always on the road. It's great to be part of a company that strives to help the environment."
The Volkswagen vehicles combine revised aerodynamics, optimised gear ratios and hard compound tyres, resulting in lower emissions and provide staff with an essential link between refurbishment and maintenance teams and our customers.
Malcolm Finnie, Connaught's Project Manager, said: "Our tenant liaison officers cover many miles in their roles so it was important for us to choose a vehicle which was safe and reliable but also kind to the environment. The reduced emission levels of the Blue Motion Polo range certainly meet our criteria and this was influential in Connaught becoming part of the May Day network."
