The work has been carried out on behalf of Renfrewshire Council and is designed to improve access and infrastructure around the town's main shopping areas, making the area more competitive with other local shopping centres and providing better links to Renfrew Riverside.
Work which has been undertaken includes improved lighting and signage, introduction of new traffic signals to improve traffic flow at key junctions and the installation of high quality, aesthetically pleasing paving.

Dave Noar, Managing Director of McKean, said: "This has been a very interesting and challenging project to have been involved in and we are confident that shoppers and traders will now recognise and enjoy the long term benefits of a much improved central shopping environment within the town."
Two-way traffic was reintroduced recently following the substantial completion of the project.
Council Leader, Derek Mackay said: "The regeneration of Renfrew town centre will boost business, enhance the environment and improve quality of life. The lifting of traffic restrictions is a significant milestone in the overall regeneration programme and will help people gain access to the town centre and see the range and quality of the changes that have been put in place.
"I'd like to thank residents and businesses for their patience as works have progressed and am delighted that everyone can see that all the effort and investment is proving worthwhile."
