Modernisation Work Open Day For Hazlehead Tenants

Aberdeen Council tenants in the Hazlehead area will this week get the chance to preview new security doors and kitchen and shower units to be fitted in their homes as part of a modernisation programme.

An open day is being held on Friday January 23, when the new doors, kitchen and shower units will be on display. Sample boards showing the full range of flooring and aqua panels (shower wall coverings) available will also be on display.

Council staff and representatives of the contractor Sidey Ltd, will available throughout the day to speak with tenants and address any questions or concerns they may have about the forthcoming modernisation work on their homes.

The open day is being held at the pavilion on Groats Road, near the playing fields, from 10am until 8pm.

The modernisation work is due to begin next month.
