Musselburgh-based Eastern Exhibition & Display has produced and installed the White Feather: The Spirit of Lennon exhibition, which has been opened in Liverpool by Julian and Cynthia Lennon.

Working together with design agency Cubit 3D, also in Musselburgh, and Edinburgh's Three Brand Design, Eastern oversaw the production of the entire exhibition, which is anticipated to draw vast crowds throughout its six month run to the new Mersey Ferry terminal building at the Pier Head.

Janet Lee Adam, director at Eastern, said: "We were delighted to play our part in helping The Beatles Story maintain its status as a world-leading and truly unique visitor attraction through this truly unique and insightful glimpse into Lennon’s personal life through the hitherto unseen memorabilia that means most to his first wife and eldest son.

"In addition to producing and installing all the various stands and display cases for the exhibition, we manufactured and installed the large window banners to promote the exhibition to passers-by."

White Feather: The Spirit of Lennon tells the emotional and intimate personal story of the life of the Lennon family; for the first time presented as an exclusive exhibition.

Throughout the exhibition Julian and Cynthia recollect their memories, experiences and emotions of their lives with John. White Feather: The Spirit of Lennon, supported by The White Feather Foundation and The Beatles Story, runs from 17 June till 31 December 2009.

Eastern's production of White Feather: The Spirit of Lennon follows in the wake of its installation in the recently created retail space and 'holding area' for the Fab4D cinema at The Beatles Story exhibition at Liverpool Pier Head Ferry Terminal.

Employing a staff of 35, Eastern's products and services, from support with initial concept to completion, include: exhibition stands, digital printing, studio services, vehicle livery, signage, interiors, project management, joinery, finishing, storage, logistics and installation.
