The project has been delivered through a partnership approach with Fife Council, Fife Housing Association, Muir Group and Dysart Community Regeneration Forum.
A mixture of 29 flats and houses with two and three bedrooms will be built on the sites at Fitzroy Square and High Street which will replace the previously demolished unpopular council flats. A retail unit is also proposed as part of the High Street development.

Most of the new properties will be for rent through Fife Housing Association with four of them for low cost home ownership through a shared equity scheme. The new houses will be more suited to the needs of the community and in keeping with the historic roots of Dysart, incorporating traditional materials into the design.
Fife Council Leader of the Administration Councillor Peter Grant: said: "Friday is proof of our continued commitment and investment in increasing access to and providing affordable housing across the Kingdom. It is a great example of partnership working in action for the benefit of local communities."
Funding for this project has been provided through a number of sources, including Scottish Government, Fife Council, Townscape Heritage Initiative, Heritage Lottery Fund and the Kingslaw Trust.
Dysart residents are invited to attend the event on Friday in Dysart Community Hall at 11.00am. This will also give a further opportunity to view the plans for the new housing and wider regeneration works within Dysart.
