Doors Open To Final Woodlands View Home

The final apartment in an exclusive £3 million redevelopment in Glasgow’s Park Circus area is now on the market.

The imaginatively refurbished "Woodlands View" three-bedroom property is located at ground and lower ground levels of the Grade A listed building at Numbers 18 and 19 Woodlands Terrace.

South-facing and with views over the city, the prestigious and detailed conversion of these former architects’ offices by Wisebuild Developments retain many original features uncovered by the company in its first Glasgow venture.

Located between Park Circus and Kelvingrove Park, this last remaining show apartment - with a fixed price of £459,950 - has a sitting room at the front and a large, dining/kitchen to the rear.

The three bedrooms, one with master en-suite, are at lower-ground floor level, which also has a sheltered terrace area.

Wisebuild Developments' directors, Mike Green and Allan Walker have been delighted with the project and are convinced there is no let-up in demand for this type of home.

"In a tough market, we bucked the trend here selling one duplex, a penthouse suite and three other apartments either prior to completion or shortly after each one was completed," said Mike Green.

"Already we've had interest in this last available apartment so I'm convinced that this part of Glasgow is still hugely attractive to buyers, despite the financial climate.

"This apartment is at a realistic price in a hard-to-beat location, which is improving all the time as a residential area."

The extensive refurbishment works have included renewing the roof and roof lights cleaning the front facade stonework and completely upgrading the stair and entrance areas.

A major asset is the view from the front of the building. Living space has been located at the front of the building to allow full benefit of the great views over Glasgow.

Because of the success at Woodlands View, the company is set to build a three-bedroom Mews house with an integrated garage at the rear of Woodlands View.

"Planning permission has been granted and we will be starting construction within the next few weeks and announcing more details very soon," Green continued.

"We are delighted with what we have achieved at Woodlands View and that’s given us the confidence to push ahead with the Mews project."
