New Campaign To Open Doors To First Time Home Buyers

One of the UK's largest privately owned house builders is to join forces with TV presenter Keith Chegwin in a new campaign to help and advise first time house buyers.

Since 1935 Miller Homes has built nearly 100,000 homes in the UK and now has eight operating regions, including two in Scotland.

Anybody visiting any one of Miller Homes developments nationwide, will be in with a chance of walking away with a cash prize of £2,500, hand-delivered by Chegwin, fondly remembered for his doorstep appearances on hit TV show, The Big Breakfast.

National Sales and Marketing Director of Miller Homes, Sue Warwick, said: "Our latest national campaign is all about opening doors for our customers. We believe that moving house needn't be a mere pipe-dream and have a team of experts on hand to offer guidance to house-hunters and make that dream move achievable.

"We're hoping to make September a month to remember and have a number of cash prizes on offer as well as a main prize of £2,500 for one lucky visitor to our developments or Facebook page. We like to have a bit of fun with our campaigns and thought who better to deliver our main cash prize than Cheggers himself?"

The campaign is set to highlight various purchase incentives available to buyers at all stages of the home buying process, including government equity loan schemes, FirstBuy and Miller Homes' own scheme, MiWay.

Other incentives set up by Miller Homes include MiSwap, a home exchange scheme that allows existing homeowners to swap their old home for brand new homes, and MiFamily Deposit, a scheme that incentives the families of new buyers by encouraging them to invest cash to help other family members onto the property ladder.

Warwick added: "Over the coming weeks, our wide range of purchase incentives will be creating opportunities for buyers looking to move nationwide. We pride ourselves on being able to help the house-hunters of today no matter what challenges they may face, and our purchase incentives play a vital part in making that dream home a reality."
