A public event is being held at Clarkston Halls to share their opinions on the new Eastwood Health and Care Centre.
The event will allow local residents to speak to the project's architects and view the site plan and proposals for the interior and exterior of the building.
The meeting is part of the CHCP consultation and discussions taking place around the new health and care centre and will enable the CHCP to understand and take into account the full range of local people's needs and views.
The consultation is running in conjunction with the Public Partnership Forum (PPF) and will also gather views about how people would like to travel to the new centre. As a result, this will subsequently form discussions with the CHCP and Strathclyde Passenger Transport about how to make the centre as accessible as possible.
East Renfrewshire Council has pledged £6.5m from its general capital funds, with the Scottish Government's Health Directorate looking to approve a further £9m in funding through the hub programme.
Councillor Lafferty, Convener for Social Work and Health said: "This is another event to gain your thoughts and comments on the proposed Eastwood Health Centre in its initial stages, so please come along and see the design plans and tell us what you think. We'll take on board all your comments and they will help to influence the design of the centre and how it delivers services to the community."
The centre, which will serve the whole of the Eastwood area is due to open by 2015 and will provide a range of GP, clinical, social care and voluntary self help services for the area.
