Public Exhibitions For A96 Project

A series of exhibitions are to be held this month to allow the public an opportunity to view the Scottish Government's plans to dual the A96 between Inverness and Aberdeen.

Transport Scotland has said the displays will include information on the Preliminary Engineering Assessment and Strategic Environmental Assessment for the A96 dualling programme, as well as route option assessment work on the A96 between Inveness and Nairn, which includes the Nairn Bypass.

The exhibitions will be held from next week.

Details are as follows:

  • Tuesday 12 November, 12pm to 7pm - Golf View Hotel, Nairn


  • Wednesday 13 November, 12pm to 7pm - Inverness Town House


  • Friday 15 November, 12pm to 7pm - Ramnee Hotel, Moray


  • Tuesday 19 November, 12pm to 7pm - Longmore Hall, Keith


  • Wednesday 20 November, 12pm to 7pm - New Elgin & Ashgrove Public Hall, Elgin


  • Thursday 21 November, 12pm to 7pm - The Gordon Arms Hotel, Huntly


  • Wednesday 27 November, 12pm to 7pm - Dyce Parish Church Hall, Aberdeen


  • Thursday 28 November, 12pm to 7pm - The Acorn Centre, Inverurie


  • Friday 29 November, 12pm to 7pm - The Fochabers Public Institute.
