The £300 million Kilgallioch Windfarm will compromise of 94 turbines with 2.5MW capacity and a further two at 2MW.
With an overall capacity of 239MW, this is enough green energy to power the equivalent of 130,000 households.
Development is scheduled to begin this month with turbine deliveries planned to start in February 2016.

The first power export is anticipated in October 2016 which will be followed by full operation of the site by 2017.
CEO of ScottishPower Renewables, Keith Anderson, said: "Kilgallioch windfarm will become our second largest windfarm in the UK and this year marks a real milestone as we approach 2GW of installed onshore wind capacity – enough to power over 1 million homes.
"We are delighted to reach this agreement with Gamesa, and we look forward to work commencing on the site next month."
ScottishPower Renewables first started consultation on Kilgallioch in 2008 before submitting a planning application to the Scottish Government in March 2010.
