CCG Donates Rotary Cutter To Community Project

CCG, one of River Clyde Homes' contractors building new homes in Port Glasgow, has donated a rotary cutter to a local community project.

Parklea Branching Out is a voluntary organisation that provides local people with support needs giving them access to training, work experience, supported employment and recreational activities.


The new rotator breaks up the soil, a process formerly done by hand, before planting and growing vegetables.

CCG is currently on site at Phase Three of River Clyde Homes' Woodhall project, delivering 16 energy efficient homes.

The homes are due for completion in December this year.

A spokesperson from CCG said: "Our partnership with River Clyde Homes allows CCG to deliver much needed housing to the area of Woodhall whilst providing assistance to the local community. Parklea Branching Out was the perfect choice and we hope our donation will go a long way in aiding the service users with their recreational activities."
