Urban Union has become the latest member to join the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS).

The scheme aims to help improve the image and reputation of the construction sector by employing best industry practices, such as adhering to the Code of Considerate Practice.

Urban Union, a joint venture (JV) company which delivers regeneration projects across Scotland, has committed to encouraging compliance across all aspects of the scheme's Code on all its registered sites and companies.

Neil McKay, Managing Director, said: "We are delighted to be a Client Partner of the Considerate Constructors Scheme. Urban Union works predominantly in the regeneration sector and it is vital to us to proactively improve and enhance the communities in which we work. The Considerate Constructors Scheme is therefore a great way for us to demonstrate our commitment to the community and positively improve the image of construction at the same time."
