Second Phase Of East Kilbride Gas Project To Begin

Work is to start on the second phase of a gas upgrade project in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire.

SGN will replace old metal gas mains with new plastic pipe along the Kingsway (A725) to ensure a continued safe and reliable gas supply to the local area.

Work will take place on a section of Kingsway (A725) north of Whitemoss Roundabout and will be progressing along the A725 towards the Whirlies Roundabout.

Up to £41,000 will be invested in the scheme, which will get underway on Tuesday, 17 July. Work will last around four weeks.
