Clark Contracts has been appointed to the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service's (SCTS) Principal Contractor Framework.
Under the framework, the contractor will complete building refurbishment works and projects.
Over the next 4 years, Clark Contracts will deliver planned refurbishment works and projects across SCTS's estate which comprises of over 70 buildings including courts, offices and witness suites. The properties are diverse, located throughout mainland Scotland and its Islands, encompassing various sizes and range of ages, of which over 83% are listed buildings, to more modern structures.
The SCTS collaborated with the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) to make the appointment.
Clark Contracts has previous experience of working with SCTS including the refurbishment of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling Sheriff Courts.
The main contractor is currently on site refurbishing SCTS new Tribunals Centre in Glasgow creating a range of modern facilities and services for both SCTS and HMCTS tribunals users.
David Currie, Director of Property Services, SCTS said: "The objective of this Framework is to support the successful delivery of building refurbishment and construction related projects across SCTS, COPFS and HMCTS property portfolios. This will shorten lead in time for projects and ensure value for money and high quality solutions delivered in partnership with the framework providers."
